Parker Camp: Joshua to win and then we want him next

Recently we spoke with Taylor Barry, one of Joseph Parker's coaches and son of Head Coach Kevin Barry, ahead of the Big Heavyweight showdown this Saturday to get his view.

Here is his detailed prediction below:

"I think the AJ v Klitschko fight is a very interesting fight; the young gun vs the old gun. I don't know if Wladimir can pull the trigger anymore judging from his performance with Tyson Fury. But he is definitely the more experienced fighter and fought much better opposition.

I think if Wlad is more active and takes risks I think it would become a 50/50 fight. But on the other hand AJ has probably the heaviest hands in boxing he's 14 years younger than Klitschko and the fight is in London in front of his people which he will feed energy from.

Wladimir doesn't have the best chin, AJ throws a great right hand. I'm thinking AJ by KO before 6. But it will be interesting to see AJ in the later rounds as he has never been past 7."

We also asked Taylor about Joseph Parker, he confirmed that they are fighting Razvan Cojanu next on May 6th; a 6ft 7 Olympian with over 400 amateur fights, and someone who they have had in camp previously. He also confirmed that they were looking at a fight with either Tony Bellew or Anthony Joshua after this fight.

He also confirmed the fight with Lucas Browne is not on their radar at the moment as he isn't ranked in the WBO. He told us that it was a fight they wanted before, but Lucas Browne was not keen. If Browne gets a WBO ranking then we understand that this fight could be back on the table.

As you have seen from Twitter exchanges between Bellew and Parker, the heat seems to be ramping up already, and we may not be far from another Heavyweight title showdown possibly in the U.K. again soon!
